Aachen City Hall's language welcome event in summer 2025
Aachen, Germany - The historic city of Aachen is once again playing host to an international group of students as part of the Language Summer Aachen programme. This year, 24 students from Ningbo University, China, are taking part in the multi-week language immersion programme.
The Language Summer Aachen, hosted by the Language Academy Aachen, the Language Centre at FH Aachen, offers daily German lessons to participants. The programme is a part of the long-standing Aachen-Ningbo Twin City Partnership, which was established in 1986.
The first group was officially welcomed at Aachen Town Hall, a traditional highlight of the programme. The welcome ceremony was organised by the Association for the Promotion of the Aachen-Ningbo Twin City Partnership e.V.
In addition to language lessons, a varied leisure programme is organised for participants to get to know the city and the language better.
