"Enough of the carry-on catastrophes! With our revised policy, boarding and deplaning will be a breeze, and passengers will have an uninterrupted in-flight journey," the airline's spokesperson declared.
Now, you get one carry-on bag that must weigh no more than 5 kg, keeping the dimensions the same at 562336 cm. Unwieldy or extra baggage needs to be checked-in and paid for, following the airline's pricing plan.
"No significant overhauls are planned - the size and weight limits remain the same: 5 kg for a standard ticket and 10 kg for increased carry-on baggage. But, guess what? Only one carry-on bag per passenger from now on, making room for comfort for all," said Daniyar Uskenbayev, FlyArystan's Ground Handling Director.
While the new carry-on baggage policy might be a change for some, Uskenbayev believes it's a game-changer for the low-cost airline, enhancing passenger comfort.
"We discovered during our studies that passengers aren't always utilizing the overhead baggage compartments as designed or efficiently. Unfortunately, the passengers boarding last often can't even fit their small bags. We're confident that these new rules will improve the situation, allowing all passengers to use the overhead baggage compartments equally, and sprucing up the boarding and deplaning processes," he added.
