Anantara Opens Luxury Hotel in Rome's Historic Heart
A new luxury hotel, the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel, has opened its doors in the heart of Rome. The hotel is a harmonious blend of ancient history and modern elegance, combining a 19th-century palazzo with nearby ancient ruins and Renaissance architecture.
The hotel's unique design incorporates the Granary Clementino, a papal grain store dating back to 1705. Guests can enjoy views of Michelangelo's basilica and the Baths of Diocletian from the hotel's rooms. The hotel is situated near the Fountain of the Naiads, adding to its charm.
Originally converted into a hotel in the early 2000s by Maurizio Papiri, with interiors by Adam D. Tihany, the palazzo has recently undergone refurbishments. Minor Hotels, under the Anantara flag, has sharpened the public rooms and the rooftop, transforming the historic building into a luxury retreat.
The Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel offers a unique blend of history and luxury, with direct access to the ancient Diocletian Baths. The hotel's design incorporates historic elements while providing modern comforts, making it an ideal choice for discerning travelers seeking a taste of ancient Rome.
