Unveiling "Shattyk-2025": Astana's Blooming Ground for Future Artists

A creative explosion occurs in Astana as the "Shattyk-2025" contest carries on, igniting the passions of children and young artists hidden within its educational institutions. This exhilarating competition has been in full swing since April 3, captivating the city's spirit, and will persist through the remainder of the month. An impressive 9800 participants, hailing from 146 schools, are eager to demonstrate their artistic prowess in 20 diverse categories, encompassing genres from folk singing to photography.

Today, the contest unfolds across several breathtaking venues, filled with the echoes of young performers striving for the limelight. For instance, the Mahambet Utemisov Schoolchildren's Palace boasts a choreography showcase, where dancers aged 7 to 18 splendidly showcase 122 dance numbers, exuding style in a tapestry of folk, modern, and pop genre threads.

Meanwhile, School-Lyceum No.59, under the watchful guardianship of Karim Mynbayev, resounds with theatrical presentations, featuring dramas, musicals, and literary-musical compositions. Over at the Center for Technical and Artistic Creativity, the photographers' battle for originality and vibrant artistic visions intensifies.

Gulfarа Sarambetova, the Department of Additional Education and Educational Work's head at the Astana Education Department, beautifully sheds light on the heart and soul of Shattyk. "While it's a contest, it transcends mere competition. It's a nurturing environment where genuine talents blossom. Children learn to perform, support each other, and find lasting friendships, fostering inspiration. Many remarkable local artists grew through this contest," she explains.

Quite the supportive audience assembled at the Mahambet Utemisov Schoolchildren's Palace, cheering on the young artists with enthusiastic applause and standing ovations. Nazerke Myrzabekova, a spectator at the event, says, "It's moving to witness such a wealth of talent in our youth, right here in our city. Every performance radiates excellence, each a testament to the potential our talented youngsters carry. May more people have the opportunity to witness their artistry, shining as beacons of future success for Astana."

The celebrated jury comprises cultural icons, artists, educators, and public figures, all convened to sift through the abundant talents on display. A total of 65 gold, 90 silver, and 120 bronze statuettes will be bestowed upon the merited winners to celebrate their victories. These distinguished champions will be honored on April 29 during the grand finale, which will illuminate the stage with the contest's most spectacular performances.
