Campaign Launched for Secure Vacation Journeys During Approaching Holiday Season
On Tuesday, July 1st, and Wednesday, July 9th, a crucial event aimed at ensuring a safe start to the holidays will take place in Hamm, Germany. The event, taking place at Ökonomierat-Peitzmeier-Platz, will be hosted by the TÜV (Technical Inspection Association).
During these days, from 2pm to 8pm, experts in traffic accident prevention and criminal prevention will be present, ready to address any uncertainties and discuss potential hazards with citizens. This open exchange is an opportunity for the public to gain valuable insights on various topics, including behaviour in case of traffic accidents, traffic jams, restraint systems, securing animals, children on the road, securing homes during absence, and general protection at holiday destinations.
In addition to the open exchange, the event will also feature a free weighing action for caravans, motorhomes, vehicles, and trailers. No prior registration is required, but participants should bring their vehicle documents (registration certificate part 1).
The event serves not only to inform and sensitize all road users about cargo securing and cargo weight, but also to provide valuable tips for a safe journey to the holiday home and securing your own home.
