Gardening, Home, Art, and Craft Festival Set to Take Place in Wuppertal's Botanical Garden
Get ready for a delightful weekend of creativity and inspiration as Wuppertal's Botanical Garden hosts a Gardening, Home, Art, and Craft Festival! This event, scheduled for 2025, promises an array of activities and exhibits that will captivate visitors of all ages.
The festival will span across the Botanical Garden, Elisenplatz, and the meadow area surrounding the glasshouses. Over 50 exhibitors from the region will showcase a diverse range of products, including gardening essentials, home decor, art and craft items, and more.
Visitors can expect to find farm-fresh delicacies, wines from Luisenviertel, bookbinding, wool and beads, bags, leather flowers, unique jewelry, knitting, fashion, garden decor, minerals, fragrant plants and herbs, sun protection, and basket weaving among the exhibits.
For the book lovers, a large book market in the glasshouse with around 20,000 books, records, DVDs, and CDs will remain open until August 24th.
Children will not be left out of the fun, with playmobile and numerous other creative participation activities available. An ice cream truck will also be on-site to keep little ones refreshed.
The festival will also feature stands on current topics such as "Nature Up Close" with the Nature and Environment station, "Seeds and Plants" with the Bergische Garden Arche, carnivorous plants, "Paint Greifzangen" for the "Talputz" with the environmental advice, "Sustainable handling of clothing and shoes" with the consumer advice, waste advice with the AWG, hospice care, holistic health, or hedgehog help.
