CiTTi Awards 2024 Honours Urban Transport Innovators
The CiTTi Awards 2024 is set to honour achievements in urban transport, with 200 professionals attending, including government representatives and industry stakeholders. The event, hosted by Andrew Ryan on November 26 at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, London, will profile finalists for The Road Safety Award this month.
Two finalists have been announced for The Road Safety Award. Citisense is recognised for its Smart Transport Hub (STH), an AI-driven solution enhancing urban mobility through real-time data analytics. The STH accurately monitors road users, enabling smarter travel planning, traffic management, and predictive maintenance, fostering safer, more efficient, and sustainable urban transport systems.
The London Borough of Camden is also a finalist for its Camden Transport Strategy (CTS) and three-year Delivery Plan for 2022-2025. Camden's efforts include trebling segregated cycleways, implementing traffic filters, expanding 'Healthy School Streets,' and completing the £40m West End Project. These initiatives have led to reduced motor traffic, increased cycle mode share, and reduced emissions, contributing significantly to road safety and sustainability.
Tables of 10 and individual tickets for the CiTTi Awards 2024 are available, offering access to a pre-ceremony drinks reception, a three-course dinner, the trophy-giving presentation, and networking opportunities. The event promises to celebrate innovative solutions and dedicated efforts in creating safer, more sustainable urban transport systems.
