City Library's October Lineup: Storytimes, Gaming & More for Kids
The City Library on Weiler Street has an exciting lineup of events for children and families this October. From toddler-friendly storytimes to competitive gaming, there's something for everyone.
Kicking off the month, the Little Bookworms event takes place on October 2nd, 16th, and 30th, from 9:30 to 11 AM. This is a fantastic opportunity for toddlers to explore the library and delve into the magical world of books.
On October 16th, from 3 to 5 PM, the library hosts a Board Game Tournament for children aged 4 to 11. This event promises fun and friendly competition.
Every Thursday, the library offers a varied program for children, including group games and reading moments. On October 30th, from 4 to 5 PM, the library transforms into a spooky haven for a 'Halloween' themed event, where children aged 8 to 11 can learn the game 'Werewolf'.
The Children's Reading Club and the Youth Reading Club meet on October 9th and 23rd, from 5 to 6 PM. Here, children aged 8 to 12 and 12 to 18 share their thoughts on new books in separate groups.
