Direct Flights Between Russian, Chinese Border Towns Resume to Boost Business Ties
Business leaders have proposed resuming direct air services between the Russian border town of Fuyuan and its Chinese counterpart. The move aims to boost economic and business ties between the two cities. The Chinese side has already given the green light to the initiative.
The proposal comes from the 'Opora Rossii' business union, which believes that direct air communication will strengthen the economic and business ties between the neighboring cities. Meanwhile, navigational services on the Amur River have temporarily ceased, halting direct communication with Fuyuan until the next season. However, a visa-free regime between China and Russia is currently in effect, which could also benefit travelers. The aviation authority, responsible for flight safety, is ready to resume flight connections quickly once conditions ease.
