Edelweiss Air Expands Summer 2025 Route Network With Seven New Destinations

Edelweiss Air, the Swiss leisure airline, has announced an expansion of its route network for the summer of 2025. The airline will introduce seven new destinations and increase flights to several existing ones.

The new destinations include Praia and São Vicente on the Cape Verde Islands, Luleå in Swedish Lapland, and Namibia. Edelweiss Air will use new Airbus A350 aircraft for these long-haul connections, modernizing its fleet and expanding its network.

The airline will also increase flights to Southeast Europe, with new connections to Pristina, Tivat, Varna, Split, Pula, and Zadar. Additionally, Edelweiss Air will offer new short and medium haul connections to Tiflis, Bristol, Terceira, Zadar, and Calvi. For long-haul destinations, Seattle and Halifax will be added to the route network.

In Iceland, Edelweiss Air will add new flights to Akureyri and adjust flight times to Kittila and Tromso. The airline will also increase frequencies to destinations in the USA and Canada, such as Tampa Bay, Denver, Vancouver, and Calgary. Furthermore, the offer to classic holiday destinations will be expanded to include Olbia, Cagliari, Faro, Madeira, and Ponta Delgada.

With these changes, Edelweiss Air continues to grow its route network and fleet, providing more travel options for its customers. The new destinations and increased frequencies demonstrate the airline's commitment to expanding its services and meeting the demands of modern travelers.
