Universal Studios Hollywood Unveils Holiday Magic for 2025
Universal Studios Hollywood is gearing up for a festive season, with a variety of themed celebrations and attractions planned from December 8, 2024, to an unspecified date in January 2025.
The magic of the holiday season will be on full display in Super Nintendo World, where vibrant, colourful decorations and immersive play opportunities will create a merry atmosphere amidst the lights and activities. The area will feature a tree adorned with a Super Star topper, festive wreath, and two snowmen. Inside the Mushroom Kingdom, guests can enjoy themed decorations, holiday merchandise, and seasonal treats at Toadstool Cafe.
In the heart of Universal Plaza, Grinchmas is set to return, offering guests the chance to meet the Grinch, Max, and Cindy-Lou Who for photos and storytime. The tree lighting and artificial "snowfall" are sure to create a magical atmosphere, while sending a letter to the Grinch at the Who-ville Post Office will not only provide a memorable experience but also support charity, as Universal donates for each postcard sent.
Step into the world of Harry Potter and experience The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, adorned with snowy decorations in Hogsmeade to create a wintry feel. The highlight is The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle, an 8-minute festive projection show on the castle that immerses guests in holiday magic, despite the California weather.
The festivities continue with Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, featuring jubilant decorations, the Frog Choir's holiday a cappella performances, and the opportunity to enjoy Butterbeer and seasonal holiday fare at Three Broomsticks.TM.
Universal CityWalk Hollywood steps into the holiday spirit with festive decorations, a towering Christmas tree, and live music and performances on select nights.
For those who can't get enough of the Grinch, Grinchmas will also take place in Universal Plaza, offering photo opportunities with the GrinchTM and Max, story time with Cindy-Lou Who, a themed craft area, and Grinchmas-themed treats and gear.

In addition, a light projection experience called 'Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle' is coming to Universal Studios Hollywood in April, and can also be experienced at Universal Orlando Resort.
