Art is at the heart of the hotel's identity, with Banksy and Richard Hambleton originals adorning the lobby, along with works by Richard Avedon, Mick Rock, Domingo Zapata, and more, spread across the public spaces and guest rooms.

For food enthusiasts, the hotel offers four dining venues. Le Coin offers a pre-jazz club steak tartare and unique art curated by the director of Leica Gallery LA, Paris Chong. Saishin serves 14- or 19-course omakase tasting menus at an interactive chef's counter. The Gansevoort Rooftop offers upscale European cuisine and golden hour cocktails.

Located on the Hudson's east bank, between Chelsea and the West Village, the hotel is within walking distance of numerous attractions, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, Little Island park, Chelsea Market, and Artechouse.

In January 2024, the hotel launched a private members' club, offering access to the pool, a café, a workspace, a fitness centre, and a 1970s speakeasy-inspired bar with a dynamic cocktail program, live music, and DJs, bowling lanes, and a karaoke room.
