Global Event Convenes at Park University on November 19th (International Festival)
Park University's International Festival Returns on November 19
Get ready for a global celebration! Park University's International Festival is back and set to take place on Friday, November 19, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the University's Park Avenue area within the Academic Underground on the Parkville Campus.
This year, the festival promises to be a vibrant and exciting event, showcasing the rich cultural diversity of the university community. Countries currently scheduled to be represented include Brazil, China, Germany, Ghana, Iran, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan.
One of the highlights of the event will be an international buffet, serving foods from each continent, from 5 to 6 p.m. Park University students on a meal plan can eat for free with their Park ID during the buffet. For the public, the cost is $10 per person.
But the festival is not just about food and fun. It will also feature information booths, performances, cultural activities, and fashion shows, providing a platform for students to share their traditions and customs with the wider community.
