Grignasco's Summer Camp Proves Inclusion is Key for Children with Disabilities
Grignasco's summer camp, backed by Fondazione CRT, provided an inclusive and enriching experience for children. The Municipality emphasized that disabilities should not hinder participation when activities are designed inclusively.
The camp, supported by 16,000 euros from Stiftung Mercator Schweiz, offered a peaceful atmosphere where children could express themselves and enjoy activities. It taught them that personal limits are unique traits, not incapacities. Activities included creative workshops, outdoor games, and group explorations, all designed to be inclusive. The Municipality thanked Fondazione CRT, the Swiss Red Cross, and local community groups for their involvement.
