Inclusive Art Garden in Fürth Unites People of All Abilities
An inclusive art garden has opened in Fürth, aiming to bring people with and without disabilities together. Lebenshilfe Fürth, committed to promoting disability participation, and Aktion Mensch have supported the project. The garden, designed by facility director Petronella Baar, is a symbol of diversity and creativity, open to all visitors for free.
The art garden at Marsweg 19 is not just a place to admire art; it's a meeting point with seating areas and retreat spaces. Visitors can engage in conversation and get creative. The opening event featured a musical program with a children's choir and a live band, setting a lively atmosphere.
Petronella Baar, the facility director and project organizer, sees the garden as a testament to togetherness. She has transformed the residential facility's garden into a sustainable space filled with artworks. To encourage exploration, a treasure hunt was also organized, inviting guests to interact with the garden playfully.
The inclusive art garden in Fürth is now open, offering a space for everyone to enjoy art, engage in conversation, and foster a sense of community. With free admission, it's an inviting addition to the city, promoting the participation of people with disabilities in everyday life.
