Marie-Curie High School now offers a new Marie-Curie Foundation, thanks to Anke Henrich, allowing MCG students to explore Europe.
At the Medical College of Georgia (MCG), an exciting new opportunity has emerged for students in grade 10 (EF level) to embark on an international stay of up to six months. This opportunity is made possible through the Marie Grenzenlos Foundation, a consumption foundation established under the Bürgerstiftung, thanks to a generous donation from Anke Henrich, the principal of MCG.
The foundation, which is not widely documented in publicly available recent sources or prominent international academic mobility programs, seems to be either very new, specialized, local, or operates under a different name or framework. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the foundation and the international opportunities it offers, we recommend checking the official website or student international office page of MCG, contacting the foundation or related program coordinators at MCG, or consulting university newsletters or internal portals where such program announcements are typically posted.
The academic performance of students applying for this international stay must be at least satisfactory. Successful applicants will be granted pocket money to help cover their expenses during their stay. The destinations for this life-changing experience include Sweden, Holland, England, and Poland.
The eligibility for the international stay is checked by Wolfgang Steinert, deputy chairman of BuNe and tax advisor. Once the applications have been reviewed, the board of trustees, including Barbel Kremers-Gerads, Wolfgang Steinert, Dieter Steins, principal Stefan Holl, and Anke Henrich (or her daughter if necessary), will have the final say.
Carlotta Berlett, a graduate of MCG, had a wonderful school experience there. She shared, "The school cultivates the idea of Europe, and the international stay is a testament to that." Currently, six students have already applied for this unique opportunity.
The donation from Anke Henrich will last for several years, ensuring that many more students will have the chance to broaden their horizons and make unforgettable memories through the Marie Grenzenlos Foundation at MCG's international stay programme.
- Students participating in the Marie Grenzenlos Foundation's international stay program can expect to experience a change in their lifestyle, as they will be traveling to countries like Sweden, Holland, England, and Poland.
- While this opportunity isn't commonly found in standard education-and-self-development programs, students at the Medical College of Georgia can also benefit fromthe foundation by broadening their understanding ofother cultures during theirinternational stay.
