Nirmal Kumar Thapa: Global Champion of Nepali Culture

Nirmal Kumar Thapa, a renowned Nepali cultural advocate and author, is making waves globally with his multifaceted initiatives. With a focus on cultural preservation and promotion, Thapa's work spans across various genres and platforms, leaving a significant impact on the Nepali diaspora.

Thapa's journey began in 2006 when he established Color Nepal, a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting art. Since then, he has authored sixteen books, including his latest, 'Whispers of the Divine', which combines poetry with Paubha paintings by Saziv Shakya. This work was recently launched at the House of Parliament in London, a testament to Thapa's international reach.

In 2018, Thapa founded the NEPAL Centre International, which now has branches in countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Mexico, and India. His upcoming plans for Color Nepal and NEPAL Centre International include honors and recognition programs, cultural performances, theatrical productions, and a documentary film on Nepal's cultural heritage. Thapa's work is deeply rooted in personal experiences and travel encounters, reflecting his commitment to enhancing the visibility of Nepali culture and arts within the diaspora.
