Opening performance of the fresh theater season at Heinz-Hilpert Theater
Prepare for an exciting theatrical experience as the Cultural Office of Luenen, in collaboration with the Theater Luenen Support Association and the Senior Advisory Boards of Luenen and Selm, launch the "Theater Meetup" on Sunday, 21st September at 3:30 PM. The event will take place at the Heinz Hilpert Theater in Luenen, and will be held one and a half hours before the premiere of "Black Comedy - Comedy in the Dark".
"Black Comedy - Komödie im Dunkeln" is a captivating play that promises situational comedy, chaos, and shameless surprises. The main character, Brindsley, is a young, struggling artist who is expecting a visit from a wealthy Russian art collector. The unexpected guests during this visit include Brindsley's ex-girlfriend Clea, his neighbor Miss Furnival (who is intoxicated), and Harold himself.
The play also features other intriguing characters such as the technician repairing the power outage, Carol's father who is unaware of her engagement, and the art collector himself. Registrations for the "Theater Meetup" can be made by phone to the Cultural Office in Luenen or Selm, or online via their webshop.
Single tickets for the performance range from 15 to 26 € and reduced tickets range from 7.50 to 13 €. Attendees can enjoy coffee, cake, and the opportunity to exchange ideas in the relaxed atmosphere of the Luenen Hansesaal. In some cases, participating artists will also be present to introduce themselves and answer questions about the piece.
Further information about the performance can be obtained from the Cultural Office of Luenen or their website. Don't miss this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of "Black Comedy - Comedy in the Dark" and engage with fellow art enthusiasts at the "Theater Meetup" on September 21, 2025.
