Emirates Flight EK382, operated by a Boeing 777-31H(ER) aircraft registered as A6-EPU, faced landing difficulties during its scheduled arrival in Hong Kong on Tuesday. According to reports from aviation news outlet Aviation A2Z, the aircraft made at least two unsuccessful landing attempts before being diverted to Kaohsiung International Airport in Taiwan.
The crew and passengers on board the flight spent the night in Kaohsiung before returning to Hong Kong on the same plane the following day. The return flight from Kaohsiung to Hong Kong took place on Tuesday.
Aviation A2Z reported that weather conditions in Hong Kong, including sustained winds of about 12 knots, may have contributed to the landing difficulties.
