Sheikha Asma Al Thani, a Qatari royal and accomplished mountaineer, has been officially designated as Pakistan's Brand Ambassador for Mountains and Adventure Tourism following her historic summit of Nanga Parbat, one of the world's most perilous peaks, located in Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan region.

Sheikha Asma Al Thani made history by becoming the first woman from Qatar and the Gulf to conquer Nanga Parbat, a feat that has garnered worldwide attention. As Brand Ambassador, Sheikha Asma's role is strategic in promoting Pakistan’s vast mountain ranges and adventure tourism globally, with a focus on the country’s five highest peaks like K2 and Nanga Parbat as premier destinations for climbers.
