Q&A Session with Dana Williams: 25-Year Southwest Airlines Veteran and Clifton Strengths Coach
Dana Williams, a certified Strengths coach and creator of the Gallup-certified purpose-driven daily planner, The Strengths Journal, is set to host a virtual workshop titled "Lead, Grow, & Thrive in 2021" on April 7th at 4:00 pm. The workshop, intended for Corporate Leaders and Coaches who are passionate about self-development and the well-being of their teams, will be co-hosted by Donna Letier, Gardenuity's co-founder and CEO.
The workshop will focus on mental health in the workplace, finding one's strengths, work-life integration, finding purpose, and growing moments that matter. Williams believes that managing one's energy, not just time, is key to getting more done using one's strengths. She will share the importance of daily journaling in channeling one's strengths and adopting it as a new structure to guide personal growth.
The Strengths Journal, designed to help individuals find fulfillment and accomplishment in their daily lives, functions as a daily planner with integrated prompts and tools centered on strengths. It encourages users to think about their desired outcomes for each day and why, and to identify the top three things they will do each day. The journal also includes worksheets and assessments to help users realize their personal strengths.
Donna Letier will host a demonstration of Gardenuity's container gardens and discuss the well-being benefits that come from growing one's own herbs and veggies. The workshop aims to provide practical tools and insights to help participants lead, grow, and thrive in their personal and professional lives.
There are three ways to register for the virtual workshop: purchasing the "Growing for Good - Herb Container Garden Kit", "The Strengths JournalTM", or the bundle of both. Access to the virtual workshop will be shared on April 7th, and the workshop will be held as a Zoom Meeting.
Williams encourages participants to reflect on the day to identify what was learned and what fear was conquered as a means of growth. She identifies comparison and the belief that one is well-rounded as common obstacles to recognizing one's strengths. Overcommitting, not setting boundaries, and not planning ahead are identified as common challenges people face when it comes to getting organized.
By focusing on one's strengths, participants can increase their energy, productivity, and confidence. The workshop aims to provide a platform for personal and professional growth, fostering authentic connection and building real conviction and motivation in daily work and communication.
