Thrilling Expedition at Hellendoorn Park: "Absolutely Awesome!"
The Dinslaken Children's Holiday Days are currently in full swing, and the participants, including Lina, who has been attending since 2023, are making the most of their time at Avonturenpark Hellendoorn in the Netherlands.
Lina, a regular attendee, enjoys the opportunity to meet new people and form lasting friendships during the holiday days. For her, the highlight is the park's diverse range of attractions, which cater to all ages.
The park, located about 30 kilometers southeast of Zwolle and accessible via the A31, offers a mix of gentle rides, thrilling coasters, water attractions, and entertainment. Some of the key popular rides and attractions include the Balagos roller coaster, the Rioolrat (Sewer Rat) coaster, Tarantula Magica, and various water slides like Dark Devil, Double Trouble, and Tornado Twist.
The Balagos roller coaster, one of the first attractions visited, reaches a height of 22 meters with a head spin, providing an exhilarating start to the day. However, it's important to note that children under 1.20 meters tall, such as seven-year-old Leonie and under 1.20 meter tall Sophie, require adult accompaniment on the roller coaster.
Other attractions, such as the knight's railway and another unspecified attraction, are currently out of service. Despite this, the park still offers plenty to do, with the jungle adventure being a particular favourite. The jungle adventure offers various attractions, including sliding over rapids, navigating around waterfalls, spinning in a carousel, and riding an elephant through the air.
The children, excluding those under 12, are given the freedom to explore the park independently, while the younger ones are supervised by their leaders, Frank Schumann and Claudia Schreiber, and other adults.
The park's entertainment, including friendly staff, clean facilities, and good food options, enhances the overall family experience. Reviews from visitors mention the park as comparable to Slagharen but with a wider range of attractions and a good atmosphere during special seasonal events like Halloween.
The park accommodates children well and is especially appreciated by families for the diversity of attractions and shows suitable for young children. Elina and Mia, two participants, think the park offer is great and affordable.
However, it's worth noting that the online registration system makes it easier for families to participate, but some parents do not pick up their tickets. Obtaining permission from the county administrator is also required for such events due to voluntary services not being allowed in the budget.
Despite these minor inconveniences, the Dinslaken Children's Holiday Days participants, including Lina, have a wonderful time at Avonturenpark Hellendoorn. The journey by bus took approximately two hours, but the memories made and the fun had during the day are well worth it. The Dinslaken vacation kids find the jungle adventure to be wonderful, and all activities during the Dinslaken Children's Holiday Days are now fully booked.
